Patty Bakes is a custom cake studio located in Duck, North Carolina. Our cakes and decorations are made from scratch in our studio kitchen and we are passionate about creating beautiful cakes that taste absolutely delicious. In addition to our hand made cakes, we also offer bespoke dessert bars for couples who want an alternative to the traditional wedding cake.
3-9 months is the ideal time to start working together. I have worked with far less lead time, so feel free to inquire!

Our standard cake designs begin at $9 per serving. Standard designs include: semi-naked, classic white, and pleated buttercream. Our custom designs begin at $10 per serving. Fondant cake designs begin at $12 per serving. The size of the cake, number of tiers, intricacy of design and pricing of flavors all play a part in determining the price. Our dessert bar pricing begins at $3 per serving.
During our busy months of April through November, we have a $750 order minimum. For all other months, our minimum is $400. Minimums do not include delivery.
For cake tastings, you may pick up to 3 flavor combinations from our cake menu. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are currently doing cake hand-offs. We will prepare and package up the cakes for you to pickup outside our commercial kitchen space in Duck, NC. Afterward, a Zoom call will be scheduled to discuss your favorite flavors as well as work on the cake design. Clients are free to send along inspiration pictures via email or screen sharing to discuss during the call.
Tastings are $50. For orders of $750 or more, the fee will go towards your deposit once booking is confirmed. Cake tastings are by appointment only, and generally booked at least 3 weeks in advance.
